WHAT WE ARE DOING
Our Board of Directors and Management Team are ready to ensure our service to you is uninterrupted and remains at the highest level possible.
Our teams are closely monitoring information from local, state and federal health officials to ensure that we are acting consistently with recommendations and guidelines from those agencies.
Ensuring our employees have the information they need to stay healthy and that they stay home if they are not feeling well. If wait times increase slightly as we strive to ensure everyone’s health, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Increasing the frequency with which we disinfect surfaces, apply hand sanitizer, and wash our hands. We may not be shaking hands to greet you during this outbreak, but we are still here to provide the same friendly service.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Bank from wherever you are. Learn more about our online and mobile banking features, so you can do your banking from almost anywhere 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have online and mobile tools to help you check balances, make transfers and loan payments, deposit checks and apply for new services from wherever you happen to be.
Be wary of fraud. There are bad players out there who will try to capitalize on this situation. Be vigilant and remember that we will never solicit your personal or account information through an email, text message on your mobile phone, or phone call. From time to time, Clackamas may send you text messages to alert you of important information.
Be mindful of resources. It is always a good idea to be prepared for emergencies by having food, water, supplies, and some cash on hand. Unfortunately, some people are panic buying and making unneeded cash withdrawals. Buying more than what you need puts some families in a tight spot while they wait for shelves to be restocked. Credit cards, debit cards, and ATMs will continue to work as they always have. Having huge amounts of cash at home is unnecessary and could be a security risk.
Try to avoid pulling cash out because of panic or fear. Cash is vulnerable, not required, and kind of dirty. Keeping funds in your Clackamas account helps your money stay safe – balances up to $250,000 are federally insured through the NCUA, and you won’t have to worry about what germs cash could expose you to. Not one penny of insured savings has ever been lost by a member of a federally insured credit union.
