Annual Meeting Notice and
Nominations Announcement

The 2015 Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the McLoughlin Branch located at 18600 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, Oregon.

This year there are three open positions on the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee, appointed by the Chairman of the Board, has nominated one member for each of the three open board positions. There will be no nominations from the floor at the annual meeting and an election will not be conducted where the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled. In such cases, election is declared by general consent of acclamation. There were no nominations by petition filed. The nominees are as follows:

Gordon Huiras – Incumbent
Gordon, a member of the credit union for 37 years, has served the credit union since 2001 on both the supervisory committee and the board. He served as chair of the committee for three years and board chair in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Gordon retired as Police Chief and Director of Public Safety for the City of Oregon City. Gordon received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Portland in Administration of Justice. He is a charter member of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Accreditation Alliance, helping to develop professional standards for Oregon law enforcement agencies. His civic involvement includes the Oregon City Elks and Sons of the American Legion.
Geoff Horton – Incumbent
Geoff Horton is a senior audit manager for AKT LLP, and has eight years of experience in public accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant who specializes in providing financial services to manufacturing, financing, healthcare, and other small to mid-sized businesses. Prior to his employment at AKT, Geoff worked for a high-tech company in their corporate finance department. Geoff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and minor in Economics from the University of Oregon. A native Oregonian, Geoff and his family live in Wilsonville. Geoffrey volunteers his time with the Special Olympics of Oregon.
Charles Stinson – Incumbent
Charlie Stinson is a native Oregonian, born and raised in Canby, Oregon. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado and is a registered Petroleum Engineer. He served on the Canby School Board for 12 years, served as Treasurer of Canby Educational Foundation and President of the Canby Rotary Foundation and has held numerous other positions on non-profit boards. He served 8 years in the U.S Navy before returning to Canby in 1978. He and his wife of 37 years have 2 children and 2 granddaughters. He is a strong believer in supporting locally based businesses and community oriented organizations.
